发明名称 PRODUCTION OF ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To efficiently produce an electrostatic charge image developing toner having fine particle size excellent in fixing property without containing superfine particles in the toner and without causing fog and the deterioration of picture images or the like. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. for the toner has the main peak in 200030000mol.wt. range and a sub peak in a high mol.wt. range of >100000mol.wt. and Mw/Mn>=30. Polymers in the high mol.wt. range have crosslinked monomer units. Also, the compsn. contains high mol.wt. polymers of >=1200000Mw produced by polymn. by using jointly a polyfunctional initiator and a unifunctional initiator. The compsn. contains such a binder resin obtd. by preliminarily dissolving high mol.wt. polymer in a high mol.wt. range and a low mol.wt. wax in an org. solvent, mixing the soln. with an org. solvent soln. of low mol.wt. polymers, and removing the org. solvent. The compsn. is molten, kneaded, cooled, solidified, classified with an air flow classifyer. The obtd. coarse powder is introduced to a collision-type air flow pulverizing machine, pulverized and then circulated to a first classifying means, while the fine powder is introduced to a classifying machine using Coanda effect to obtain a toner of a specified particle size range.</p>
