<p>PURPOSE:To use an insulated core as a grounding wire for a drop electric wire from an electric apparatus on an electric pole by providing the insulated core with in a housing when the housing is formed, and supporting the insulated core with close contact with a protecting layer, which is formed as a unitary body with the housing for covering the outer surface of the insulated core. CONSTITUTION:An insulated core 1 is provided along the entire length of the center of the inner surface of a housing 2 having the arc-shaped cross section in an earth molding M having a conductor. The insulated core 1 is covered with a protecting layer 2b as a unitary body with the housing 2. A slit 3 is formed along the entire length of the protecting layer 2b. The earth molding M having the conductor is cut to about 3.3m beforehand. The insulated core 1 is connected to a grounding wire, which is lowered from a distribution line system on the site at a position higher than the height, to which passer's hand reaches. The connecting part is insulated. Then, the bottom side of the cross section of the earth mole is brought into contact with the surface of the electric pole, and the earth molding is lowered. The earth mole is tightened with steel bands at the adequate interval and fixed. The lower end of the insulated core 1 is connected to a grounding rod.</p> |
