<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a high degree of chipping by carrying an object to be chipped such as a used tire into a chamber to compress it in the axial direction of the chamber, pushing it in a female mold which is contracted gradually, and crushing the object to be chipped which is discharged from the female mold by a minutely crushing part to prepare a particulate object. CONSTITUTION: When a used tire is cut minutely, the used tire is charged into a feeding passage, cylinders 5, 6 are operated, and a press part 10 is lowered to pressurize the used tire. At the time of pressurization, the old tire is pushed out along the feeding passage and is pushed into a chamber 19. Next, the press part 10 is locked by four stop cylinders 22, 23 to close the chamber 19 upward. A compression part 3 is operated in this condition to introduce a piston 29 into an opening 19' facing a shaft so that the used tire is pushed into a female mold 36 which is tapered and is compressed. A material discharged from a discharge port 38 of the female mold 36 is chipped into particles due to the reciprocating movement of a cutting blade of a cutting mechanism 39.</p> |
