PURPOSE: To prolong the service life of rinse water ecologically and economically and easily by heating rinse water up to a specified temperature before rinsing the exposed and developed image-forming material or within a specified time of using water. CONSTITUTION: The rinse water heated up to at least 50 deg.C for at least 15min is used before rinsing the exposed and developed film-forming material before using at most <=20m<3> and/or before using of the rinse water exceeds 24 hours. The rinse water is heated up to 50 deg.C-80 deg.C for at least 2hr-20min and further, preferably, heating it up to 55 deg.C-70 deg.C for 30min, especially, 60-30min, and extremely preferably, up to 60 deg.C-67 deg.C for 60-30min, thus permitting a silver halide emulsion layer and optional layers on a silver image to be removed satisfactorily and the printing characteristics of the obtained lithographic dry plate to be enhanced. |
