PURPOSE:To improve the effect of pronunciation training by using both the output of a spectrum analyzing device and the output of a pitch synchronous dispersion analyzing device together and displaying dispersion on a display device. CONSTITUTION:Pronunciation from a trainee is converted by a speech gathering device 11 into an electric signal and the spectrum analyzing device 12 extracts speech feature quantities such as a vowel spectrum on the basis of the electric signal and visually displays them on the display device 13. Further, the pitch synchronous dispersion analyzing device 14 calculates the dispersion of the signal in synchronism with the speech pitch to obtain the index of stability of the speech, and visually display it on the display device 13 at the same time the spectrum analyzing device 12. Further, a pitch synchronous dispersion processor generates a pitch synchronizing signal by a pitch extracting device on the basis of the electric signal obtained from the speech gathering device 11, stores signals at every one period in plural storage devices by using a pitch synchronous switching device, and calculates the quantity of the dispersion by using the dispersion calculating device on the basis of signals which are segmented in synchronism with the pitch. |
