PURPOSE:To provide a self-developable pressure-sensitive recording sheet eliminating the lowering of developed color density and the generation of developed color fog in its self-developing layer (color former layer & coupler layer) and having excellent water resistance. CONSTITUTION:In a self-developable pressure-sensitive recording sheet wherein a color former layer consisting of a microcapsule containing an electron donating color former and carboxyl modified polyvinyl alcohol and a coupler layer consisting of an electron acceptive coupler and an acrylic polymer are provided on a support, carboxyl modified polyvinyl alcohol in the color former layer is crosslinked. |
