PURPOSE:To provide a car speed displaying method that enables a running car to sight a speed restriction and a decelerating pattern existing ahead. CONSTITUTION:In a car being set up in a driver's cab, and made up of making speed information pertaining to 'car driving' indicatable on a panel-form display 1, one direction of this display 1 is set down to a speed axis, and thereby the current travel speed 3 of his own car is displayed by a pictorial pattern along this speed axis. In addition, a maximum 4 in an interval, where his own car is traveling at present, is displayed through an image picture in a part comparable to the former likewise, while in view of the present position of its own car, such one as the near future out of the maximum speed in the future is displayed large enough, and the maximum speed in the remote future is displayed to be smaller, that is to say, this car speed displaying method is one that is made so as to repeatedly display both of these maximum speed images as if they were the laws of perspective. |
