PURPOSE:To stably and certainly perform automatic feed at the start time of printing by providing a part equipped with the single surface of a base fabric and having specific Clark rigidity to a feed leading end. CONSTITUTION:A cut sheetlike fabric recording medium 707 with Clark rigidity of 10-400 wherein a base fabric 602 is integrated with the entire single surface of a feed base material through a dye soln. absorbable sticking layer 603 is set on the upstream side in the feed direction of the feed rollers 703, 704 of the recording medium in an ink jet printing apparatus. The cut sheetlike fabric recording medium 707 is brought into contact with the feed rollers 703, 704 at the leading end part thereof under pressure and drawn in to be automatically mounted on a feed means. Since the lower paper 601 of the cut sheetlike fabric recording medium 707 driven so as to be fed and the base fabric 602 being a printing surface and brought into contact with a feed follower roller 704 under pressure are laminated through an ink absorbable self-adhesive layer 603, the lower paper 601 is stably fed. Therefore, feed characteristics can be enhanced.
