PURPOSE:To prevent processing speed from being decelerated even when editing processing such as insertion/erase is performed to one of plural documents inside a document storage part by storing a document selected for editing at the back of the other document. CONSTITUTION:When any arbitrary one document is selected, a correspondent document is read from a document file and displayed on a display means. Assuming that a document I is displayed at such a time, the arrangement of the document I is changed so that the document I can be stored at the end of a document storage part 3. Next, the editing processing such as insertion, erase, change or addition is performed to the document I displayed on the display means. The document I is stored at the end of the document storage part 3 but when the editing processing is performed, the document I is stored at a position just behind a document III. Thus, since the document to be edited is stored at the rear part of the document storage part 3 in comparison with the other document, even when the editing processing is performed to this document, the editing processing speed of the document can be accelerated without affecting the other document. |
