An apparatus for pulling up elongated, tubular textile goods includes three elements, a transfer station, a pulling up station and synchronous drawing up rollers. The transfer station has transfer hooks which rotate around their own axis, and transfer the textile, using a freely programmable controller, to pulling up hooks of the pulling up station. At the highest point of the pulling up station the textile is pulled over the form of a semi-form machine using a guide flap. The pulling up of the textile onto the form is assisted by the synchronous drawing up roller arrangements. With this apparatus, the pulling up procedure which is conventionally performed manually is automated and a smoother, faster and more cyclical pulling up procedure is achieved.
