<p>To monitor an adjusting movement of an adjuster (4) operated by an electric adjusting drive (2), the time (t) elapsed from the start of the adjusting movement and a characteristic value (I) for the torque of the adjusting drive (2) are detected and compared with stored reference values (tS or IG). Depending on the result of comparison, monitoring signals (S1, S2, S3, S4) are derived therefrom which are imitated in the monitoring signals provided by mechanical transmitters in travel and torque detection.</p> |
