ARRANGEMENT FOR SECURING WINDING COMPONENTS IN THE GROOVES OF A LAMINATION STACK IN ELECTRIC MACHINES

Preformed winding components are secured in the standard grooves of electric machines by trapezoidal or tangential groove closure wedges together with corrugated washers. A great deal of technological effort is needed to secure them shakeproofly and with corona protection. The effort is reduced and a better seat obtained by fitting corrugated washers (4) with a sliding strip (5) between the fitting wedge (2) and a clamping wedge (3) in the tangential system. In addition, the gap between the groove wall (12) and the winding component (7) along the groove is filled with silicone rubber (8) and lateral corrugated spring sections (9) or with plate-like moulding compound (10) and corrugated spring sections (9). This ensures that the winding components (7) are elastically and shakeproofly secured and a precisely defined prestress on the corrugated washers (4) in the groove of a set of stator laminations (1) of high-powered synchronous generators.
