The adjustable hole cutter (drum saw) (1) for cutting out circles of variable diameters has a saw blade (17) formed of the succession of a plurality of curved blade elements (13, 14) mounted on blade-carrier bases (11, 12) which can move along radial openings (6, 7) and includes a means for adjusting and locking the position of the curved blade elements (11, 12) so as to form concentric circles of variable diameters. The invention is of benefit to tool manufacturers, particularly the manufactures of DIY tools. <IMAGE>
