FLUID DISPENSER

An elastomeric bladder type infusion device for delivering a beneficial agent, such as a drug to a patient at substantially a constant rate. The device uniquely includes an internally disposed functional substrate (46) which carries the beneficial agent so that it can be mixed with the fluid as the fluid is being introduced into the device to distent the bladder to make it an energy source for controllably dispensing the solution mixture to a patient.
