<p>Polymeric triarylsulfonium salts are provided having a repeating structural unit with formula (I) where R represents a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; X- represents a non-nucleophilic anion, n represents an integer greater than or equal to 0 and p represents an integer greater than or equal to 2 and may be prepared by combining: (a) an arylbis(p-fluorophenyl) substituted sulfonium salt with a bis(trimethylsilylated)dithiol in a polar aprotic solvent.</p> |
