The invention relates to a gas-pressure regulator with a T-shaped fitting to be fitted in a gas line, consisting of a straight, centrally split pipe provided with threads on both sides and having a lateral branch, in which the gas-feed and gas-discharge line to the housing of the pressure regulator are accommodated and on which the housing of the pressure regulator is mounted. The object of the invention is to provide with simple means a simple possibility of providing a test opening at the gas-pressure regulator without extending or substantially extending the overall length of the existing gas-pressure regulators and without interfering with the gas-pressure regulator itself. The invention consists in the fact that a flange is screwed at least onto the outflow-side thread of the pipe, that this flange is provided with a radial bore, at the end of which an internal thread is provided, and that the radial bore is closed by a plug screwed into the internal thread.
