A top part for the driver's cab of a working vehicle comprises a base part (1) which is fastened to upper frame parts (2) of the cab and is intended as a carrier for elements of a ventilation or air-conditioning system, with walls for guiding purified fresh air to be blown into the cab and circulating air which is removed from the interior of the cab and mixed with the fresh air, and further comprises a hat-shaped roof (23) which is fastened releasably to the base part. In order to make available a top part which, with a low degree of production outlay, allows the side windows to be acted upon by air in a targeted manner and makes possible effective ventilation of the cab using a composition of air which can be set to the particular requirement, the circulating air is, inter alia, guided in at least one peripheral circulating-air duct (18) which is bounded on the outside by horizontal and vertical regions of the roof (23), the circulating-air duct (18) opens into a mixing chamber (10), the fresh-air inlet opening (8a) of which can be closed by a fresh-air flap (29), a circulating-air flap (16) is arranged at the point at which the circulating-air duct (18) opens into the mixing chamber (10) in order to control the amount of circulating air, and the circulating-air flap (16) can be controlled in such a manner via the fresh-air flap (29) that, when the fresh-air flap (29) is completely closed, the circulating-air flap (16) is completely open, and vice versa. <IMAGE>
