The present invention relates to a prewired low-current electrical network arranged in a building, comprising sockets (1) which are all the same and which are connected to cables (2) and which may be connected to sensors, characterised in that the said network is exclusively dedicated to the technical management of the building; the said network includes a central automatic (control) unit (6) for technical management of the building, which is connected to the said outlets (1) via the said cables (2) in order at least to receive information from the said sensors, the said outlets (1) and the said cables (2) being arranged within the ceilings of the building. <IMAGE>
