The plastics strip (10) has marks which define the three successive edges (3-5) for holding the racket. The marks comprise three lines (13-15) different colours which are all different from the colour of the strip.The back surface of the strip is covered with a layer of self-adhesive material by which it is fixed round the handle. Its length corresponds to the perimeter of the handle and its covering.
