<p>A system used in fingerprint identification for determining distinguishing features of a fingerprint pattern and comparing these to an allowable fingerprint pattern, includes a card (2) having a sensor (1) for producing a sequence of fingerprints pattern data representative of a finger pressed thereon and processing means for producing processed data indicative of the relative positions of the epidermal ridge minutiae and the epidermal ridge sweat pores of the fingerprint pattern. The processed data is stored and used for identify verification.</p> |
