Paper layer system for producing either a postcard or a letter, with the text side being turned over onto the address side and possible handling as an endless script-carrier web

The paper layer system can be used - after writing on it - to produce either a postcard or a letter - always with second copies or further copies. Both sides of the postcard - just as the letter - may be fully covered with writing: on the upper side of a double card, address and sender details and text are provided on one side and text is provided on the other side. Thereafter, one half of the double card is turned over by means of a perforation line and the two halves are bonded on the rear side. The reliable maximum dimension for postcards is thus produced. The shortcoming of text not being able to be written on the reverse side of carbon copies - and the surface area which can be used for writing thus being correspondingly reduced - is dispensed with. The attachment, which can be separated on the longitudinal sides, of paper layer systems provides an endless script-carrier web. After having written thereon, the mechanically separated individual script carrier can be processed further to form either a postcard or a letter.
