Portable cutting device in principle of travel railway and truck carrying the chain saw, has travel railway compiled from at least two partial frames (10) with at least two anchor poles (20) at which truck (26) has entire form of inverted "U", is placed on the frame across the leading discs on one side and supporting disc on the second side and contains in its upper part the transverse shift mechanism, to which cross slide rest (41) is fasted chain saw (44). Device can be equipped by protecting frame (48), eventually by cover of chain of chain saw (44), which is turnable gripped by screws (45) on chain carrier (46).
