The invention relates to mills comprising an annular track (12) coated with wear plates (14, 14') and on the internal surface of which one or more rollers (16) roll, which rollers are pressed onto the track by their weight or by centrifugal force or by external means such as thrust cylinders or springs. In order to decrease the risk of the wear plates breaking under the action of the rollers, which exert a high pressure, the wear plates (14, 14') include an internal face or working face, the shape of which corresponds to that of the rolling surface of the track and an external face, or bearing face which is planar, and that part of the body of the mill (10) supporting the track (12) has a prismatic internal surface on which the wear pieces bear.
