PURPOSE:To simplify the handling of molds and the releasing of the molds, to enhance the strength of a product and to prevent it from cracking by forming two split resin moldings by a hand lay-up molding, securing them and winding glass fiber impregnated with resin on the outside. CONSTITUTION:Split molds 2 of split shape in a plane passing the center of a linear tube 1-A to become a molding are formed. After the outer faces of the split molds 2 are coated with a mold release agent or the like, a mat 3 of glass fiber impregnated with synthetic resin of predetermined size is placed, hand lay-up molded, split resin moldings 4, 5 are cured, and the molds 2 are released. The split resin moldings 4, 5 of the tube 1-A are bonded, and burrs 8 extended on the periphery are removed to obtain a core material 6 of the tube 1-A. The material 6 is attached to the drive shaft 11 of a filament winding device, and resin-impregnated glass fiber 7 discharged from a traverse carriage 13 moving laterally on a drive screw 12 provided in parallel with the shaft 11 is helically wound. |
