Safety device for motorized doors

A safety device includes a gate tube (1) fastened to the free end (101;) of a motorized collapsible gate or roller door (10;) having two conductive strips (11; 11') spaced on the inside along the length respectively connected to an electromagnetic switch (2) through a transformer (3), the electromagnetic switch (2) controlling a motor drive (4) to close and open the motorized door (10;). The electromagnetic switch (2) is induced to cut off power supply from the motor drive (4) as the gate tube (1) is squeezed to connect the conductive strips (11; 11') with each other during the closing operation of the motorized door (10;).
