An electric-motor drive is proposed, which is used for displacing (adjusting) equipment parts such as sliding roofs, window panes, seats etc. of motor vehicles. The actuating drive comprises a commutator motor and a brush holder which is arranged inside the motor housing. A particularly simple construction of the actuating drive results if the brush holder is used as a carrier for a printed circuit board which is fitted with the power and control electronics for the actuating drive.
