PURPOSE:To provide the automatic meter inspection system which can send and receive signals simply and surely. CONSTITUTION:A center 6 being a supply control side is connected to a radio unit 18 installed in each individual house through a telephone line 8 and a controller 14 performing switching with a telephone set 16. This radio unit 18 has its antenna 19 provided in a gas pipe 10. A meter 4, on the other hand, has a radio slave equipment 12 inside and the antenna 13 of this radio slave equipment 12 is also installed in the gap pipe 10. An indication from the center 6 or transmission from the meter 4 is performed by a radio communication between the meter 4 and radio unit 18 through the gas pipe 10. Therefore, the installation is easy, the diffusion and interference of a radio wave can be removed, and secure transmission and reception become possible. |
