METHOD FOR SETTING BELT-FORM RUBBERIZED FABRIC ON TIRE MAKING DRUM AND DEVICE FOR CONDUCTING SAID METHOD

PURPOSE: To avoid that synchronous fluctuation and number of rotation of a tire making drum exert unfavorable effect on winding accuracy of a belt-like rubberized fabric on the tire making drum. CONSTITUTION: A belt-like rubberized fabric 1 is fed into a mounting device 4 through a guide path 3 and then, it is fed on a tire making drum 5 and in a mounting device 4, the belt-like rubberized fabric is guided by an adjusting unit with a carrying base which is driven by a servo motor and is movable parallel to the axial line of the shaft 51 of the tire making drum, and data related to rotational movement of the shaft 51 of the tire making drum is fed to a computer by means of a rotational signal generator 6. A required number of rotation of the servo motor driving the carrying base is obtd. by a computer, and shift movement of the carrying base in the axial direction is made to pass through in definite relation to angular velocity of the tire making drum. Even if any fluctuation on the angular velocity of the tire making drum is generated, shift of the carrying base in the axial direction is appropriately fit.
