PURPOSE:To make a side clutch and a side brake compact and facilitate assembling in a riding working machine with a friction clutch type side clutch and a side brake interposed at each of lateral rear wheel driving part. CONSTITUTION:In a riding working machine with a friction clutch type side clutch A and a side brake interposed at each of lateral rear wheel driving parts, the side clutch A and the side brake B are provided in line close to each other, and the boss part of the clutch case 31 of the side clutch A is extended onto the side brake B side. The inner friction plate of the side brake B is fitted to the boss part so as to integrate the side clutch A and the side brake B.
