PURPOSE:To prolong the service life of a conveying roller and a gate roller in a delivery part. CONSTITUTION:When a bill is delivered, both a conveying roller 3 and a gate roller 4 in a delivery part are left as rotated, and when a bill 12, separated from storage cassette and further taken out by a separating roller 2, passes between the conveying roller 3 and the gate roller 4, rotation of the gate roller 4 is stopped, to make the bill pass between the conveying roller 3 and the gate roller 4 by turning force of the conveying roller 3. Accordingly, even when both the conveying roller 3 and the gate roller 4 are brought into slide contact with each other, wearing thereof can be prevented as small as possible. |
