PURPOSE:To ensure appropriate operation of a detector at all times by sustaining the detector fixed to a motor within an allowable operating temperature range. CONSTITUTION:The AC servo motor comprises a heater 8 disposed closely to the outer periphery of a detector 2 fixed to a motor in order to heat the detector 2, a fan 1 for cooling the detector 2, temperature sensors 9, 10 for detecting the ambient temperature of the detector 2, and temperature regulators 11, 12 for turning the heater 8 and/or the cooling fan 1 ON/OFF based on the temperature information from the temperature sensors 9, 10 to sustain the detector 2 within an allowable operating temperature range. |
