PURPOSE:To provide a method for measuring a specimen which can start measuring the specimen readily without waiting for the stabilization of current of the enzyme electrode and uses the enzyme electrode with an improved working efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A buffer liquid is poured into a reaction container so that an enzyme electrode where voltage is applied between electrodes can be dipped. The current between the electrodes is sampled and the attenuation curve of current is predicted. After that, a specimen is injected into the buffer liquid and then a current I1 between electrodes after a specific amount of time passes is measured and at the same time a current I2 on the attenuation curve is calculated, thus measuring a specific constituent in the specimen based on both currents I1 and I2. It is desirable to predict the attenuation curve of current for each measurement of each specimen. |
