PURPOSE:To decide the output order of conversion candidates at the time of KANA/KANJI mixed KANA/KANJI conversion according to the notation of the declensional KANA of a handwritten input character. CONSTITUTION:In the case of character input, an input control part 11 stores a coordinate value inputted from a coordinate input device 1 in a character coordinate data buffer 23 by way of a coordinate data buffer 23, after then, starts a handwritten character recognizing part 12 to make character-recognize a handwritten character within the character coordinate data buffer 23 and stores the recognition result in an input character buffer 25. Next, a KANJI mixed KANA/KANJI conversion part 13 KANJI-mixed-KANA/KANJI-converting the recognized character stored in the input character buffer 25 to obtain the conversion candidate but at this time, the candidate of the same notation with a declensional KANA stored in the input character buffer 25 is selected from a dictionary 42 as a first order and stored in a conversion candidate buffer 26. Thereby, a display device 3 displays the conversion candidate of the same declensional KANA notation with a handwritten inputted one as the conversion candidate of the first order. |
