PURPOSE:To obtain a hybrid fuel cell suitable for wide applications by making high rate charging possible, compact, and high output, preventing the performance deterioration of a storage battery and a fuel cell, and lengthening the life. CONSTITUTION:In a hybrid fuel cell obtained by combining a fuel cell with a storage battery 3 and connecting the fuel cell and the storage battery 3 to the same load 4, a cooling means 31 is installed in the storage battery 3, and the cooling means 31 utilizes a fluid used in the fuel cell or electricity generated in the fuel cell itself to reduce the heat generation on charging. |
