<p>PURPOSE:To provide the design supporting method and device which can design a plant control panel including a man-machine interface while confirming simulatedly the plant control panel in a final product form with presence. CONSTITUTION:A plant control panel design supporting device is provided with a data base control computer 10, a display device 11 which shows the design drawing of a control panel designed by the design supporting device, a data input device 12 which supplies the design data, and the data bases 13a, 13b and 13c which store various data on the control panel to be designed. Furthermre a three-dimensional panel/apparatus information data base 13d is added to the design supporting device to store and control the shape data on a three-dimensional panel and the apparatus attached into the banel, together with a virtual space processing computer 3 which processes the control panel data in a virtual space, a line of sight detector/video display 41 which shows the image of a plant control panel to be designed in a three-dimensional virtual space in response to line of sight, and the hand action detectors 51 serving as the data gloves which supply hand actions of the viewer to the computer 3.</p> |
