<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the selecting work of the kind of a piece of equipment to be controlled of a user by outputting a second command following a first command at the time of instructing the release of a mode, in a controller which can be shared by a piece of equipment which necessitates a first command for setting a specific mode, and a piece of equipment which necessitates a second command. CONSTITUTION:At the time of starting an automatic editing operation, a preset remote controller 1 automatically instructs program searching, fast forwarding, rewinding, and reproduction for a VTR 2 with integrated camera, and automatically instructs recording temporary stop and recording of picture to a VTR 3 by an infrared ray. The preset remote controller 1 successively three commands, in order of a picture recording temporary stop command, reproduction command, and picture recording command as the instruction of the release of the picture recording temporary stop for the VTR 3. Therefore, the controller is capable of handling any VTR as long as it can shift from a picture recording temporary stop mode to a picture mode by one of the picture recording temporary stop command, picture recording command, and reproduction command.</p> |
