PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance by providing a screw type extractor for pressing and dewatering excavated plastic sediment and for removing sewage water and a plasticity-accelerating additive and a sediment carrying-out device for carrying out solid sediment exhausted from the extractor. CONSTITUTION:The cutter head 1c of a shield tunneling machine 1 is driven. Excavated sediment is fed into a pressure chamber 1d and is kneaded with plasticity accelerator-containing sewage water B supplied from a downstream conditioning tank 5 for forming plastic shape. Next, excavated plastic sediment (A) is exhausted to the downstream by means of an earth moving device 8 and is supplied to a screw type extractor 2 through a belt conveyor 9. Next, the sediment (A) is pressed and dewatered while being transferred toward an exhaust port by means of the extractor 2 to remove sewage water and the additive B. The sewage water and the additive B are drained in a water-intake tank 29. Solid sediment C are exhausted to a belt conveyor 31 from the exhaust port. In addition, the solid sediment C is transferred to and mounted on a carriage 33 from the conveyor 31 through a hopper 32 for carrying-out or carrying- out is done through a pipe 35. |
