PURPOSE:To attain moving repeatedly the sound image of a performance sound emitted in a hall along a track according to a performance program and a performance tempo in the hall e. g. when an electronic musical instrument is automatically performed in the performance hall. CONSTITUTION:The performance program selected with a music selection switch in an operation part 106 by a user and the sound image movement data dealing with the tempo of automatic performance set with a tempo adjuster in the same operation part 106 are read out from a panning ROM in a panning control circuit 108. By the panning control circuit 108, the volume distribution of a musical sound emitted from an L channel speaker 110 and an R channel speaker 112 is changed based on the sound image movement data, and the fixed positions of left and right sound images are changed, and the whole volume of the musical sound emitted from the speakers 110 112 is controlled, and the sound image is moved repeatedly along the prescribed track by moving the sound image in a back and forth direction viewing from an audience. |
