摘要 PURPOSE:To control down shift precisely by reducing high gear clutch oil pressure from a prescribed value when high gear clutch oil pressure is maintained to a prescribed value or more at the time of down shift, low gear clutch oil pressure is increased gradually, and the angular velocity of a rotation member is reduced. CONSTITUTION:When down shift is judged, oil pressure of a high gear clutch B2 is maintained to a prescribed value or more, and oil pressure of a low gear clutch B3 is increased gradually in condition thereof. Even if there is the volume of the low gear clutch B3 at a gear change initial time, condition in which rotating speed change is not generated is formed. Since rotating speed change is disabled, an angular velocity is fallen down instantaneously by the voltage of the low gear clutch B3. The result is detected so as to judge the complete timing of the piston stroke of the low gear clutch B3. After judgement, oil pressure of the high gear clutch B2 is reduced from the prescribed value to transfer to an inertia phase. It is thus possible to control properly role of torque territory of the high gear clutch B2 regardless of dispersion and the like.
