PURPOSE:To develop new medicinal applications for a physiologically active peptide of soybean protein origin. CONSTITUTION:The objective medicinal composition having antibody production- potentiating activity, containing, as active ingredient, peptide(s) [or medicinally permissible salt's) thereof] of formula: Gln-Arg-Pro-Arg and/or formula: His-Cys- Gln-Arg-Pro-Arg (Gln is glutamine; Arg is arginine; Pro is proline; His is histidine; Cys is cystine). Using mice, intraperitoneal administration of this composition raises the titer of the hemolytic antibody for sheep erythrocytes. |
