<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper retaining device for a cut paper printer wherein uniformity of printing quality is achieved so as to prevent a trouble of diagonal feed or the like in a feed of paper, even when the paper of broad width is printed, by driving a plurality of paper retaining plates by a single motor. CONSTITUTION:A4, B4 part retaining plates 25, 26, driven by a stepping motor 22, are arranged in a position respectively different in a circumferential direction of a shaft 24, and by turning the shaft 24 in accordance with a kind of paper, the A4, B4 part retaining plates 25, 26 are successively actuated, to almost equally set a paper retaining pressure by the A4, B4 part retaining plates 25, 26.</p> |
