PURPOSE:To provide the production method of a resin having high water absorption property, capable of efficiently producing a water absorbing resin having high water absorption rate and/or highly water absorbing ability. CONSTITUTION:Base polymer particles having water absorbing property are granulated into granules having prescribed particle diameters while being fluidized with an air flow and the surface of the prepared granules is cross-linked in the presence of a cross-linking agent to produce a resin having high water absorption property.
