PURPOSE:To prevent the applying of a inverse voltage which exceeds the peak inverse voltage to LEDs. CONSTITUTION:Three Rab, Gab, Bab-LEDs (a=1 to m, b=1 to n) which are three primary colors of light as units are adjacently combined and are disposed in a matrix form. The Rab, Gab-LEDs (a=1 to m, b=1 to n) are of a p-n junction type GaP type and their anode terminal sides are respectively connected to respective common line Ca (a=1-m) in a row direction. The Bab-LEDs (a=1 to m, b=1 to n) are of a MIS type GaN type and their anode terminal sides are respectively connected to respective common lines CBa (a=1 to m) in a row direction. The cathode terminal sides of the Rab, Gab, Bab-LEDs (a=1 to m, b=1 to n) are respectively connected to the respective signal lines Rb, Gb, Bb (b=1 to n) in a column direction. The inverse voltage exceeding the peak inverse voltage is not applied to the LEDs which do not contribute to pulse light emission in this LED driving circuit and, therefore, the deterioration and damage of the respective LEDs are prevented. |
