PURPOSE:To offer motor controllers that almost prevent the drive mechanism from being damaged even if an AC power source is connected by a worker to a terminal to which the power source should not be connected. CONSTITUTION:A motor controller provided with an input terminal 1 to be connected to an AC power source, output terminal 2 to be connected to an electric motor, rectifier means 3 to rectify an AC voltage, smoothing means 6 to smooth rectified pulsating current, drive means 10 to drive a motor by converting smoothed DC voltage into AC voltage wen an operation is signal received, and control means 13 to send operation signal to the drive means 10 when an operation is made, being connected to the rectifier means 3 and drive means 10. Between the control means 13 and drive means 10, a reverse input cut-off means 19 is provided that does not supply power to the control means 13 except when an AC power source is connected to the input terminal. |
