PURPOSE:To provide the information embedding device and its reproducing device capable of tracing from which master disk the duplication is executed without deteriorating a reproducing image even if specific information is embedded by embedding in advance the specific information into a video software of the master disk in the case the video software is reproduced illegally. CONSTITUTION:A frame which can execute an inter-frame correction by a reproducing device 10 is detected by a detecting device 1, and in this frame, a controller 2 controls a converter 4 in accordance with control information, a level of a video signal is converted and specific information is embedded. In the reproducing device 10, a controller 8 follows converting information, and a signal omission part and an information embedded part are subjected to inter-frame correction by a correcting device 9.
