PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for printing out a contour by taking an exclusive OR between the contour data and a buffer, writing in the buffer, taking the OR with the contour data and painting out. CONSTITUTION:In opposition to that the contour is scanned horizontally as usual, a high speed process is realized by parallel processing vertically at this case. This, the exclusive OR between the contour data from a bit map memory 1 and the data in the buffer 5 is taken to be written in the buffer 5. That is, the change point between the former result of the exclusive OR in the buffer 5 and this time result of the exclusive OR with the contour data is detected by the exclusive OR, and then, the OR between the result of the exclusive OR and this time result of exclusive OR with the contour data is taken, and the printing out dot data by process unit width are obtained. The exclusive OR between the data in a contour read buffer 2 and the data in the work buffer 5 is operated by an EXOR logical operation circuit 4. The OR between the data in the contour read buffer 2 and the data in the work buffer 5 is operated by an OR logical operation circuit 6. |
