<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a resistor whose high-voltage-pulse-resistant characteristic is high by a method wherein a reistance film is formed on the surface of a cylindrical insulator, hollow parts are formed in both edges of the cylindrical insulator, tip parts of lead wires are inserted into the hollow parts and the lead wires are fixed by a thick-film electrode paste which can be fired in a neutral atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Hollow parts 8 are formed respectively in both edges of a cylindrical insulator 1. Tips of lead wires 4 are inserted respectively into the hollow parts 8, and the lead wires are connected and fixed by thick-film electrodes 7 for lead-wire fixation. The thick-film electrodes 7 for lead-wire fixation are formed by firing a thick-film electrode paste which can be fired in a neutral atmosphere. A resistance film 2 is formed by firing a thick-film resistance paste which can be fired in a neutral atmosphere. Thereby, the effective length between the electrodes can be made long, and the high-voltage-pulse- resistant characteristic of the title resistor can be increased.</p> |
