<p>PURPOSE:To allow a wire harness of a certain length to be used in places having different requisite lengths by using an adjusting member consisting of an adjusting rod equipped with a pinching piece, and making it possible to elongate and shrink the wire harness. CONSTITUTION:The surplus portion of a flat wire harness 4 is folded back, and bends 4a, 4b are formed. A length adjusting member 10 is placed on this folded and piled part of the wire harness 4, and bent parts 12A-1, 12B-1 at the ends of an adjusting rod 12 are inserted to the bends 4a, 4b of the harness 4. In the supporting part 11, approx. the central part of the harness 4 consisting of three layers stacked due to folding back is pinched by pinching pieces 13A, 13B and detained with the other end of the harness 4 by pawls 13A-1, 13B-1. Thereby the length of the harness 4 can be adjusted, the surplus portion is free from risk of dangling to cause interfering with any other component part, and the harness 4 is prevented from damage.</p> |
