PURPOSE:To obtain the television receiver in which no malfunction or the like take place with simple configuration and plural connected video equipments are operated by one remote control unit. CONSTITUTION:A main body reception section 11 receives a control signal from a remote control unit 20 and sends a control code to a microcomputer 12. A changeover switch 15 selects a signal for a VDP 16, a VTR 17 and a tuner 14. A main body transmission section 19 sends the information representing which the changeover switch 15 selects to the remote control unit 20. A remote control reception section 24 receives information sent from a TV main body 10 and gives the information to the microcomputer 21 and the microcomputer 21 stores the state of the TV main body 10 to a RAM 25 and displayed on a display section 26. In this case, when a multi-function key is entered, the information from the TV main body 10 is referenced and a control code in response to the input mode selected by the changeover switch 15 of the TV main body 10 is sent to the TV main body 10. |
