发明名称 METHOD FOR CORRECTING DOT DEFECT
摘要 PURPOSE:To obviate the degradation in light shieldability of the surrounding of the resin transferred to a glass surface and to reduce resin diameters so as to obscure defective pixels by digging a substrate constituting a panel and embedding the resins dispersed with materials having the light shieldability therein. CONSTITUTION:A TFT system LCD panel is constituted by forming holes 15 having a specified area and depth in the dot defective parts of a counter substrate 11 and packing light shielding films 13 made of the resins formed by dispersing the light shielding materials, such as metal and graphite, into these holes 15. The outside shape lines of the holes 15 are so formed as to be superposed on BM 12 and the holes are formed by machining. The light shielding films 13 are a fluid state at the time of injecting into the holes 15 and cures at about 100 deg.C. As a result, such things as with the conventional methods that the peripheral parts of the light shielding films are thin and not uniform and that the defects are made more conspicuous than before correction by increasing the diameter of the light shieldable films in order to compensate the degradation in the light shieldability in the thin part are entirely eliminated. The uniform and small light shieldable films 13 are thus formed.
